    Advanced Valuation

Used as an intermediate step between a basic desktop valuation and a surveyor. Often used as a method to highlight details of high specification vessels or if there may be concern regarding the the condition of a vessel.

The method requires a questionnaire to be sent to he owner of the vessel to ensure the most up to date specification and condition details. The owner will also be asked to submit a recent class status.

Port State control performance of the vessel is also recorded and along with cost and maintenance information.

On completion of the valuation a signed certificate is created which contains all the details of the report.

The advantage is a more detailed look into a vessel and its value where the possibility to send a surveyor may be difficult or costly. The method is also used to ensure all relevant value adding items are identified and clearly included which is common requirement for niche trades.
